Registering with Manchester Event Volunteers

Joining Manchester Event Volunteers is easy and will take you just a few minutes.

Unfortunately, we are only able to accept volunteers with a Manchester Postcode (i.e. you must be within the Manchester City boundary and pay your council tax to Manchester City Council).

Please note that you must be at least 16 years of age to join the service. However, there is no upper age limit.

If you are under 16 years of age, you can register to volunteer with the Manchester Youth Volunteering Project (MYVP) or the Greater Manchester Youth Network.

Unfortunately, you live outside the catchment area in which we can work. This is due to the funding we receive.

The criteria stipulates the beneficiaries have to live within the Manchester area (i.e. you must be within the Manchester City boundary and pay your council tax to Manchester City Council).

For those of you who live in the Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester areas (Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Salford, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan), we do have some ideas on ways in which you can get involved with organisations in your local region.
