The Big Lottery Fund (BLF) has a total of £130,000 to allocate to voluntary and community groups across Greater Manchester through a new strand of its existing Awards for All scheme.

The BLF is keen to support projects that:
• help talented people make their ideas a reality;
• allow people to use and develop their skills more;
• enable people and groups to work together better.

Grants will range between £300 and £10,000. Following a review by a BLF panel, a selected number of projects may be put forward to a public vote in the applicant's local area to decide who gets an award.

The closing date for applications is 6th May 2011.
