The Booth Centre is an innovative, activity based day centre for homeless people in Manchester.
The Centre works with homeless adults with alcohol, drug and mental health problems providing advice, support and a full range of activities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, energetic, flexible, creative and proactive Project Worker who will be responsible for managing our volunteers and the building and will also be directly involved with providing advice, support, interagency working, facilitating activities and practical tasks such as food preparation and cleaning.
Applications from people with past personal experience of homelessness, drugs, alcohol or mental health problems would be welcome.
Salary NJC pt. 26-28, £22,221-23,708 + 10% pension
