Contract: 21 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract for 2 years
Salary: Circa £30k per annum pro-rata

We are looking for an experienced person in community development and project working to help build on this exciting volunteer led project which delivers emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer across the city of Manchester.

The work requires a real understanding of a partnership approach as well as a passion for community development. Your track record will reflect your experience of these, as well as the confidence to work independently and flexibly.

You will have experience of providing health or social care services and an understanding and awareness of the needs of people affected by cancer. In addition, you will have strong IT skills and demonstrate the sort of organisational skills that assure objectives are met- whatever the pressures of multiple priorities and deadlines.

A driving licence is essential due to the flexibility required of the role. You will on occasions be required to work out of normal office hours and away from your normal office base.
