Debdale Eco Centre (DEC) in partnership with Hulme Community Garden Centre has secured fund from The Big Lottery Fund' s Local Food Programme to deliver an exciting organic growing project.
Based in Debdale Park, Gorton, DEC will deliver a range of training courses to residents, schools, allotments, NHS, GPs and others over a two year period. DEC plans to develop from a small local social enterprise into a self sustaining organisation increasing the scope for other services.
DEC is now seeking an experienced person to assist the trainer to deliver and evaluate a training programme for all the courses. The applicant will work closely with the trainer to develop the centre and assist in producing regular reports for all programme activity.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with people on all levels. DEC is a small organisation and as part of a small team some level of working flexibility will be required.
