The VOP team has supported the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) - an arm of the national Community Service Volunteers (CSV) organisation - in a bid to the Reaching Communities strand of the Big Lottery.

Following the success of the bid, they are looking to appoint a Volunteering Development Officer for older people for a three year period. The postholder will work closely with the VOP team to ensure that the 3 year programme supports and complements existing volunteering programmes and opportunities across Manchester. Interviews will take place on Monday 15th November and the closing date for applications in Friday 22nd October.
