Forever Manchester to help the groups we work with directly?

Localgiving.com is a social enterprise owned by the Community Foundation Network (CFN) and the Ardbrack Foundation, both registered charities dedicated to supporting local charities. The website allows local community groups to sign up, promote themselves, fundraise and even claim gift aid, something they previously couldn't do.

We're looking specifically for volunteers to support Localgiving who will do one (or more) of the
following;

Provide general support and attendance at fundraising events for groups signing up to
Localgiving and those that have already joined
Help deliver fundraising workshops for community group
Administrative support - at Forever Manchester offices, timetabled around Match Funding dates
Assisting groups signing up to Localgiving with publicity/promotion/awareness raising of
Localgiving

We're particularly interested in any volunteers who have specialist skills they could share with our groups such as social media skills, (how to effectively use Facebook, Twitter etc.), web-designers, IT technicians, marketing/PR support and anything else that might be useful to community groups trying to grow and increase both their support and fundraising.

This is a great ‘live' business experience and an opportunity to develop your skill set and gain a
reference/testimonial that you have completed volunteer work for the charity. All travelling expenses will be covered.
