Long Term Opportunity
Remploy and the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation (MBF) are delivering a mentoring
programme, which will provide mentoring services to disabled and disadvantaged people to support them to attain and sustain employment. The programme is looking to recruit, train and support
volunteers who will offer their time to provide mentoring and befriending support to clients identified and referred by Remploy. Role of the volunteer mentors will engage with Remploy candidates and support them with the development of soft skills such as confidence, motivation and self esteem in order to support their journey into and sustained employment.The intention is that volunteer mentors will engage with those they are supporting weekly for
approximately one hour. The commitment is for a minimum of six months and a maximum of 18 months. There is also the opportunity to apply as an ‘e-mentor' as well as a community mentor.Out of Pocket Expenses will be provided for this opportunity.
