    Dig The City at Manchester Cathedral

    Join us for this exciting urban gardening celebration where areas of Manchester City Centre will be transformed into a sea of green and colour. The pinnacle of Dig the City, Manchester Cathedral is proud to stage the North West's largest flower festival, celebrating themes of music and the Diamond Jubilee. Led by a Chelsea award winning team, and the organisers of major flower festivals including Hampton Court Palace, Dig the City at Manchester
    Cathedral will be a stunning spectacle of over 30,000 flowers."

    During the flower festival we're going to need a whole host of volunteers, to greet our guests outside as they arrive and steward our visitors when they are inside the Cathedral. We hope that you will choose to volunteer with us in this exciting week- and you'll get into the festival for free!

    The shifts each day will be:
    9.00 - 15.00
    12.00 - 18.00

    Travel expenses up to £6 per day will be re-imbursed.
