    Support our Chief Executive and gain great skills!
    George House Trust is offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and support our busy Chief Executive by helping with a range of administrative, fundraising and research based tasks.
    This role is based at our offices in Manchester and you will need to have some availability on
    weekday daytimes.

    Tasks will include:
    Undertaking administration tasks such as preparation of minutes, handling correspondence, phone calls, diary management etc.
    Liaising with people to arrange meetings with the Chief Executive
    Liaising with Trustees and members
    Researching potential funding sources for specific projects using on-line  resources
    Preparing pro-forma funding requests to charitable trusts to charitable trusts and similar
    Liaising with charitable trusts about funding requests
    Monitoring fundraising campaigns and producing progress reports
    Preparation of thank you letters to donors and supporters
    We will offer you training in all aspects of the role, but you will need to have experience of using
    Microsoft Office, have good communication skills, enjoy working with people and have strong
    organisational and administration skills.

    We can reimburse out of pocket travel expenses and meal expenses whilst volunteering, in line with our Volunteer Expenses Policy. We can provide some help with childcare costs incurred to attend Volunteer Induction Training. This must be agreed with a member of staff first.
