    Just a note to say to other would-be-volunteers for this event that this morning I received a text from Sky confirming my involvement.

    Not sure when the training session is, but I look forward to seeing you there then.

    You were lucky. I got absolutely nothing. No info about the training session or th event. Something that is occurring too frequently these days.

    Hi Anne

    Apologies that this happened to you. It may have been an oversight on the organisers behalf.

    However, if you find that you are not being contacted by Event Organisers, give us a call on 0161 234 1532 and we can find out what is happening for you or, if you prefer, we can give you the contact details of the host organisation so you can make direct contact with them to find out if you have a position.

    We usually say that, if you haven't heard anything a week before the event, you should give us a quick call.
