RespondWe need volunteers for this event.
Though it seems to be long hours I am sure that you would like to elp Kristian out in his First major event since the cuts in the office.
You do need to attend the briefing on the Sunday Afternoon for 2 hours and I have done this event elsewhere and I can promise you, you will have a good time and they do look after you.

RespondAn excellent and enjoyable event. The crowds were very patient and, most importantly, several of the experts told me as they left that they thought the stewarding had been first-rate. We did well folks!

RespondWell done to every one who took part. It was a lot more busier to begin than expected and hence why breaks etc did not happen as and when.
If you have any other comments it would be good to hear them even if they are bad, so we all can learn from more members.PeteO

Respondhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b015374f/Antiques_Roadshow_Series_34_Manchester_Town_Hall_1/
The link above is for last Sunday show on the BBC.
See how many volunteers you can see, I have seen 16 out of 34.
The antiques series returns as Fiona Bruce and the experts visit Manchester, where a packed town hall awaits the team. There are plenty of surprises for visitors waiting with family heirlooms including a toy last opened by an owner's father in Edwardian days, valuable reminders from the Russian revolution, and a chair with a musical secret first seen by Arthur Negus when the show visited over thirty years ago.
Also, play along with a new guessing game as Fiona asks if you can tell the difference between the most commonly owned antiques and the most valuable pieces eagerly sought by collectors. It's not as easy as it sounds as she asks: which is Basic, Better & Best?
Broadcast on BBC One, 8:00PM Sun, 18 Sep 2011

RespondThe BBC website says January 29th for the 2nd show, but it's best to keep an eye out (or look at the website) in case anything changes. I didn't see me, thank goodness. Fiona's legs are far more photogenic.
